Rymar Premium Wood Sealer Application Suggestions for Decks
- Let new wood dry for 30 days.
After project completions, allow wood to dry (cure) for 30 days before starting the sealing procedure.
- Clean
To clean, first wet wood. Then use Rymar Rinseable soap and follow the directions on the box. Rinse, let dry, then seal.
- Sealing Your Project
Apply sealer until it no longer penetrates. Brush out any puddles of sealer that develop. Let dry for at least 48 hours before using, longer drying time may be required in cooler, damper weather. Sealer may be applied with a brush, sprayer, or by dipping. Premium requires step 4. Xtreme is a wet on wet application. Seal 3-4 boards, seal them again while wet or tacky; this equils 2 coats and won't require step 4.
- Resealing with Premium Sealer
After 90 days clean surface with Rymar Rinseable soap and water, rinse and let dry. Apply sealer, again being careful not to allow puddles of sealer to develop. Allow to dry before using deck.
